JAMES VANEK
Coordinator of Lacrosse Operations

Jim Vanek is in his second season with the Minnesota Swarm and first as the Coordinator of Lacrosse Operations. He is responsible for many of the day-to-day duties of the lacrosse operations group, including team travel and accommodations, negotiating partnership deals for team services and supporting the team as a liaison at home and on the road.

Vanek also assists the club in public and community relations, and is a regular contributor to mnswarm.com.

Vanek, 24 (4/12/83), is a native of Saint Paul, Minnesota and a graduate of Cretin-Derham Hall High School and the University of St. Thomas, with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, with an emphasis in Public Relations. In his spare time, he enjoys playing hockey, working out, watching movies, going to concerts, reading, writing and spending time with friends and family.

He currently resides in Saint Paul.
