McCormack, 34, is in his sixth season with the Minnesota Swarm. In his role as the Director of Marketing, he is responsible for the oversight of all Swarm branding and communications, including: website, social media, media relations, fan relations, and game entertainment & promotions. In addition, McCormack manages Swarm ticket sales and operations, including: ticket programming and packaging.
Prior to joining the Swarm, McCormack worked eight seasons in NCAA Division I Athletics. He managed the marketing and promotional efforts for Baseball at the University of Minnesota, and for Baseball and Men's Basketball at Fresno State. While with Louisiana State University, Matt successfully helped lead the Lady Tiger Women's Basketball program to a drastic increase in attendance and ticket revenue. Serving as the Associate Director of External Relations with Bradley University, Matt managaed the marketing and promotional campaigns for all sports, as well as worked hand-in-hand with the University's Athletic Development office. Most recently McCormack worked three years at the University of Notre Dame coordinating the marketing efforts for Irish Hockey, Lacrosse, and Football programs.
The Minneapolis, Minn. native attended the Academy of the Holy Angels and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a degree in Sports and Exercise Management. McCormack and his wife, Jennifer, have two daughters, Maryn and Ainsley and reside in Saint Paul, Minn.
