Swarm re-sign Talbot and Croswell

Minnesota’s first action this offseason locks up two key defensive players

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota Swarm today re-signed D Noah Talbot to a three-year contract and G Kevin Croswell to a one-year agreement.

Talbot, 32, finished his sixth season with the Swarm in 2011. As one of the Minnesota’s most trusted veterans on defense, Talbot collected 22 loose balls and dished out two assists this past year. The native of Victoria, B.C. has appeared in 71 consecutive regular season games with Minnesota dating back to 2007.

Croswell, 26, posted a 1-2 record in four appearances with the Swarm in 2011. Croswell registered a career-high 47 saves in a complete game in Minnesota’s 13-8 victory against Calgary on April 2. In four seasons with Minnesota, the native of Peterborough, Ontario is 5-13 with an 11.52 GAA and a .773 SV%.
