Captain Ryan Cousins
SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Pending League approval, the Minnesota Swarm today activated Captain D Ryan Cousins to the team’s 23-man roster.
Cousins, 29, spent the first half of the season on the sidelines due to his full-time job as a firefighter in Toronto.
“Going into the second half of the season with Ryan back in the lineup will be a big boost for us on field and in the dressing room,” general manager Marty O’Neill said. “Ryan brings lots of confidence to the whole group and it couldn't come at a better time.”
Cousins has been Minnesota’s Captain since the team’s inception in 2005 and will hold the same role for the remainder of the 2011 season. The former NLL Defensive Player of the Year in 2007 and 2008 has appeared in 121 games in his nine-year career, totaling 73 points (31g, 42a) and 547 loose balls.
Swarm season, group and single game tickets are available with options in all price ranges. Tickets for the 2011 Minnesota Swarm season, presented by Treasure Island Resort & Casino, are available by visiting mnswarm.com or calling 888-MN-SWARM.
