SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The National Lacrosse League’s (NLL) Minnesota Swarm will team up with Comcast On Demand for the 2011 season, allowing fans to catch the games on television. The Swarm opens its season on Saturday, Jan. 8 at 7:30 p.m. CST on Treasure Island Field at Xcel Energy Center.
The Tuesday following each home game, Comcast On Demand subscribers will be able to view the Swarm games. Users can select channel 888, then entertainment and then Swarm to find the games.
“We are excited to be able to give our fans and potential fans the opportunity to view all of our home games in high-definition on Comcast,” said Minnesota Swarm Co-Owner & Vice President Andy Arlotta. “This is a great way to continue to help grow the sport of lacrosse in Minnesota.”
