CenterPoint Energy Press Release
MINNEAPOLIS – CenterPoint Energy, a corporate sponsor of the Minnesota Swarm, has selected Kevin Maire, Minnetonka, Minn., as the winner of the Minnesota Swarm’s first Furnace Giveaway contest. The contest, highlighted during the 2013 Swarm season, gave fans a chance to win a new, Ruud high-efficiency furnace and installation valued at over $3,800. “We are very blessed to have won the Ruud furnace and are thankful for CenterPoint Energy’s Home Service Plus ® (HSP) and the Minnesota Swarm,” said Maire.
“This has been an exciting season for CenterPoint Energy to partner with the Minnesota Swarm,” said Dave Muller, Home Service Plus marketing and sales manager. “Each year, HSP partners with Minnesota teams that share our values of hard work, dedication and fan appreciation. Like the Swarm, we are grateful for our thousands of fans who have trusted HSP for many seasons—over 80 years! Thanks to the Goodin Company and Ruud furnaces, we were able to reward Kevin with a fantastic furnace, and enjoyed all of the fans we met at this season’s game table.”
The furnace giveaway ran February-April 30. Almost 700 entries were collected from fans at regular home games, as well as online at HSPtoday.com. The Minnesota Swarm completed their season on Saturday, May 4, during NLL playoffs. HSP customers can still receive Swarm Rewards for purchases, and can visit mnswarm.com for more details.
