Hass is the Week #6 Transition Player of the Week

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The National Lacrosse League today announced that Minnesota Swarm transition player Tyler Hass has been named the Week #6 Transition Player of the Week.

Hass, 27, scored the game-winning goal in the Swarm’s dramatic 13-12 overtime victory last Saturday against the Toronto Rock. The Victoria, British Columbia native finished the game with his first hat trick in 2013 and also collected four loose balls. In the first quarter, Hass notched the Swarm’s opening tally on a power play opportunity, and added his second goal later on in the quarter.

“Tyler has worked hard both on and off the floor to improve his game this season,” Swarm head coach Joe Sullivan said. “His work ethic is second to none and he exemplifies everything the Swarm represents on the floor and in the community.”

In 2013, Hass has recorded six points (4g, 2a) along with 22 loose balls in five games.

This Saturday, fans can enjoy box lacrosse and roller derby action on a single ticket when the Swarm team up with the Minnesota RollerGirls for the third annual “Seeing Double,” an exciting doubleheader event at 6 p.m. on Treasure Island Field at Xcel Energy Center. This is a unique opportunity to catch two thrilling Minnesota sporting events on the same night, in the same venue, for one low price. The doubleheader kicks off at 6 p.m. with the Swarm (2-3) vs. Calgary Roughnecks (4-2), followed by the Minnesota RollerGirls All-Stars vs. Iowa City’s Old Capitol City Roller Girls.

Swarm fans looking to lock up 2013 Season Tickets can take advantage of a Buy 2, Get 2 at 50% offer. By purchasing two season tickets at full price, fans can add an additional two tickets for half the cost. Single Game Tickets start as low as $21 for all remaining home games in 2013.
