SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The National Lacrosse League’s (NLL) Minnesota Swarm today announced that the team has traded F Kevin Ross to the Philadelphia Wings in exchange for a 1st-round pick in the 2015 NLL Entry Draft.
“It’s been a pleasure to have Kevin on the Swarm the past four years,” Owner & President John Arlotta said. “I’d like to thank Kevin for his contributions both on and off the field during his time in Minnesota and we wish him nothing but the best moving forward in Philadelphia where he will get the chance to play closer to home.”
Ross, 27, posted 59 points (28g, 31a), 45 loose balls and five forced turnovers in 16 games with the Swarm in 2012. Minnesota acquired the London, Ontario native as a free agent in 2009. In four seasons with the Swarm, Ross tallied 179 points (77g, 102a) and collected 198 loose balls in 63 games.
