SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The National Lacrosse League (NLL) today announced that Minnesota Swarm T Tyler Hass has been named the Week #14 Transition Player of the Week.
Hass scored a career-high four goals on four shots in the Swarm’s 13-9 road win against the Philadelphia Wings last weekend. The second-year pro also added an assist and tied a team-high 10 loose balls.
“Tyler has worked hard to get himself prepared physically after having his injury earlier this year,” coach Joe Sullivan said. “He's got himself back in incredible shape and at the playing level that we thought he would be at. It was only a matter of time until he started to have success around the net and pushing the ball up the floor. It’s great to see guys who work hard get rewarded that way.”
In six games this season, the Victoria, British Columbia native has recorded seven points (6g, 1a) and 24 loose balls.
Minnesota (6-7) is hosting College Night at The Hive this Saturday against the Washington Stealth (4-9) at 7 p.m. CT. Tickets are available for purchase by calling 1-888-MN-SWARM or visiting mnswarm.com.
