Minnesota is right back in action again tonight on the NLL Network

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota Swarm (5-6) heads west to finish its season series against the Edmonton Rush (3-7) tonight at 8 p.m. CT at Rexall Place. Minnesota lost on Friday night in front of 8,510 fans to the Calgary Roughnecks (9-3) 15-10 at Treasure Island Field.

Saturday’s matchup is certainly an important one for the Swarm in terms of solidifying a playoff spot. Minnesota currently holds a 1.5 game lead over the Rush for third place in the West, despite dropping its last three games. Back on Feb. 10, the Swarm handed the Rush a 10-9 loss in overtime after F Ryan Benesch delivered the game-winning goal with 2:37 left. Benesch, who missed Friday’s game with a concussion, will also miss Saturday’s road contest.

Minnesota holds a 4-3 all-time series lead against Edmonton. Fans can watch tonight’s game on the NLL Network by visiting NLL.com and at the Swarm’s official viewing party at Cork’s Irish Pub in Downtown St. Paul.

Lower level tickets to all remaining three home games in 2012 start as low as $20 and can be purchased by calling 1-888-MN-SWARM or visiting mnswarm.com.

Friday’s contest against Calgary will air on Channel 45 as a delayed broadcast this Sunday, April 1 at 4 p.m. CT.
