SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Ryan Benesch and Callum Crawford, the Top Two scorers for the Minnesota Swarm in 2012, will participate in a series of social media chats with Swarm fans in the upcoming weeks on Twitter.
Crawford, who holds a Swarm record for most points in a single season (96), will host the first chat session on Tuesday, March 20 at 12:15 p.m. CT. To participate in the chat, fans should follow the Minnesota Swarm’s official Twitter handle, @Minnesota_Swarm, and then submit questions using the #HiveChat hashtag. Both Benesch and Crawford will be tweeting from the @Minnesota_Swarm account.
“I’m looking forward to being able to interact with our fans, especially since I’m not living in the Twin Cities this year,” Crawford said. “It will be fun to touch base with everyone, and have a few laughs. Hopefully we get some unique questions.”
Fans are encouraged to submit questions in advance of Tuesday’s chat. Fans that do not have a Twitter account can still email questions to firstname.lastname@example.org. By using the #HiveChat hashtag, fans who are registered on Swarm Rewards – the Swarm’s social media rewards program – will earn points.
Transcripts of the Twitter chats will be posted shortly after the sessions conclude on mnswarm.com.
