SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota Swarm announced today that the team has launched one of the nation’s only social media reward programs in professional sports: Swarm Rewards.
The program gives Swarm fans the opportunity to earn points and prizes for interacting on the Swarm’s Facebook and Twitter accounts as well as on foursquare and CrowdCameo during home games. The application was designed by row27.

Fans can participate in Swarm Rewards by liking and sharing Minnesota Swarm Facebook posts; retweeting @Minnesota_Swarm tweets; using select particular hashtags in tweets; checking into Foursquare at Swarm games; uploading photos to CrowdCameo during games; and by posting the message of the day to Facebook and Twitter from a Minnesota Swarm Rewards Profile page.
