Swarm to Unveil 2012 SPT Calendar Next Monday at Annual Meet & Greet Event

Fans are invited to meet members of this year’s SPT at Burger Moe’s in St. Paul

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The National Lacrosse League’s (NLL) Minnesota Swarm will unveil its 2012 Swarm Performance Team (SPT) calendar during the team’s annual ‘Meet the SPT’ event from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 19 at Burger Moe’s, located at 242 7th St. W. in Saint Paul. 

Swarm fans will have the opportunity to purchase this year’s calendar and get it autographed from their favorite SPT members during the event.

All ten members of the SPT, including returning veterans Annalisa, Beth, Ginger, Jenna, Jes, Kara, Kayla, and Kristin, and new members Kim and Richelle, will be on hand. Autograph signings will begin at 6 p.m., after which fans will have the opportunity to dance-off against their favorite SPT members.

For the third consecutive season, the SPT has produced a calendar for Swarm enthusiasts. As a part of the Swarm’s initiative to support cancer research, $1 of each calendar sale will go to benefit the Randy Shaver Cancer Research & Community Fund. The 2012 SPT calendar can in addition be purchased this season online at the Swarm’s official team shop - www.theswarmshop.com - and at The Hockey Lodge inside Xcel Energy Center.

Burger Moe’s will also be offering a special $5 burger basket for Swarm fans in attendance.

About the 2012 Swarm Season:

The Minnesota Swarm will begin its eighth season of play in the NLL on Saturday, Jan. 14 on the road against the Colorado Mammoth at 8 p.m. CT. The Swarm will host the Buffalo Bandits on Treasure Island Field at Xcel Energy Center for its home opener on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 7 p.m. CT.

Swarm fans looking to lock up season tickets in 2012 can take advantage of a Buy 2 Get 2 at 50% offer. By purchasing two season tickets at full price, fans can add an additional two tickets for half the cost. Lower level single game tickets can be purchased for as low as $20 to all eight home games by calling 1-888-MN-SWARM or visiting mnswarm.com.
