During the summer, most of the Swarm are participating in one of three leagues, the MLL, WLA or MSL. Not only does summer ball allow players to stay in top lacrosse form, it offers them a chance to start fresh after the winter NLL season. Goalie Nick Patterson for example is enjoying a 5-1 record for the Victoria Shamrocks thus far. Summer ball has given Nick a well-needed boost of confidence after an off year in 2009. His strong play with the Shamrocks should help him rebound in 2010.
