Howard Green joined the Swarm in January 2005 as the color commentator for the inaugural season of the Minnesota Swarm. Green plays a variety of roles with the club including turfside interviews and in-game education as well as game analysis on mnswarm.com.
A lifelong lacrosse player, Green played high school lacrosse in Brookline, Massachusetts, college lacrosse at Emory University, and club lacrosse throughout New England and Evanston, IL. Prior to joining the organization, Green spent 12 years as a sports anchor and reporter in New England; on the ABC affiliate in Bangor, Maine, the Fox affiliate in Portland, Maine, and on UPN, FOX, and NECN in Boston.
A Boston native, Green has a Master's Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University and an MBA from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. In his spare time, Green enjoys hunting and fishing with his brothers-in-law and spending time with his wife, twin daughters and two Vizslas. The family currently resides in Falcon Heights, Minnesota.
