In the same game that saw the first wedding in team history, the Swarm also accomplished an incredible feat on the floor, surpassing 20-plus goals for the first time in franchise history during their 21-7 victory against the Buffalo Bandits.
Jordan MacIntosh tallied a career-high nine points (5g, 4a) while Callum Crawford tied his career-high of 10 points with two goals and eight assists. Rookie Shayne Jackson also had a career-high seven-point game.
“Early on in the year we faced a lot of adversity with some one-goal losses,” coach Sullivan said after the game. “Through those losses we’ve grown as a group and showed a lot of character to rebound really well in the last three games.”
That character was on display wire-to-wire as Minnesota never trailed in the contest. The Swarm scored 11 unanswered goals stretching from the second quarter to the fourth and 11 different players scored for the Swarm.
It was the second-straight game in which the Swarm had scored at least 20 goals as the team bested Philadelphia 20-11 one week earlier.
