Donation and Player Appearance Requests

The Minnesota Swarm receives numerous requests for memorabilia, player appearances, and speaking engagements from organizations each month. We wish it were possible to honor all of them since most are very worthwhile causes. Please know that all requests are given serious consideration. Due to the high volume of requests we receive, the following guidelines must be followed to assure fairness.

Making a Request

Eligibility

Merchandise: Requests for merchandise and autographed items are limited to organizations located in the state of Minnesota. Exceptions are made on a limited basis. The Minnesota Swarm focuses its efforts on assisting organizations that benefit youth lacrosse, disadvantaged youth, sick children, and educational programs for youth.

Appearances: Requests may be made for Swarm players to attend an organization's event. Please note that Swarm players' schedules are extremely limited due to the demand of travel and practice.

Requests for operating expenses and other monetary requests are not considered.
Memorabilia and appearances are limited to one request per organization during the fiscal year.
(July 1-June 30).

Application Process

Merchandise: Requests must be submitted in writing on organization letterhead.  Please include the nature of the event, the date of the event, how the item will be used, and include organization contact information.

Appearances: All requests must be submitted in writing on organization letterhead.  Please include the nature of the event, the date of the event, location of event, the activity the player will be involved in, and include organization contact information.

All requests must be submitted at least four to six weeks prior to the date of the event for which the donation is needed.

Processing Your Request

Please allow 3-4 weeks for processing.  Due to the high volume of requests we receive, we ask that you please do not call to check on the status of a previously requested donation.  All decisions made by the Minnesota Swarm Community Relations Department are final.
