Ross, 23, is entering his second season with the Minnesota Swarm as the Youth Box League Coordinator and Equipment Manager. Last season, he was a youth box league intern working on the league schedule, booking arena space, and marketing the league to youth and high school organizations. On Swarm game days, he assisted the equipment manager with equipment specific duties and reported to the teams needs. He also is maintaining his position at Mariucci/Ridder Arenas where he drives the Zamboni and has nightly cleaning duties.
Prior to joining the Swarm, Ross graduated from Kettle Moraine High School in Wales, WI and attended the University of Minnesota, receiving his degree in Sport Management. He played all four years for the Men’s Club Lacrosse team and was the Facilities Coordinator for the last two seasons, creating the schedule and successfully assisted in the planning of two spring break trips for the Gophers. The Gophers traveled around the Midwest and to the West Coast.
Ross has had a passion for sports since he first began participating. He is a Gophers, Packers, Brewers, and Blackhawks fan. His hobbies are playing hockey, lacrosse, fishing, golfing, and recently gained an interest in hunting. Currently, he resides in Eagan, MN.
